Adult Yoga ...!!!

The classes are for all levels. Its more Ashtanga style but also cover Hatha and Vinyasa style. Each class is well structured covering various breathing techniques, Bandhas, Kriyas, Yoga Asanas and Meditation and Relaxation techniques. Since Ashtanga yoga is more therapeutic, student will be guided through various poses to relieve their general problems like lower back pain, sciatica nerve pain, varicose vein pain, herniated disk or neck pain etc.

Schedule: Ongoing Classes will be held at Thursday night at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at mu home studio.

Prenatal Yoga ...!!!

It's a very specialized class for pregnant women. The classes focus on the common pregnancy problems like lower back pain, sciatica, swelling of ankle and feet. Class will cover the following:

  • The gentle stretches to renovate the body cells which take the laziness away during this time.

  • The hip opener yoga poses to help the tighten hips which is a general problem during 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

  • Spinal stretches as spinal gets imbalanced because of the growing belly and extra weight.

  • Subtle yoga exercises of ankle and hands to prevent the swelling generally occurred during the 3rd trimester.

  • Breathing technique to ease the labor pain if practiced beforehand.

  • 15 minutes mediation and relaxation technique in the end of every session to helps mind and body relax.

The classes will enhance your belief to deliver natural childbirth. ..!! I have helped many women in past and they love to share their experiences. A few of their stories can be read here

Children Yoga ...!!!

Toddler Yoga

Toddlers are amazingly flexible. So if they are trained at this age their flexibility can be maintained until the entire life effortlessly. I mostly use themes like stuff animals, nursery rhymes and small stories etc and associate it with the yoga movements. The children also sometimes suggest me many different postures during the class and I let them explore their own imaginations.

Kids Yoga

The classes are well structured to explore fun aspects for children as well as cover yoga asana, breathing techniques, mudras, meditation etc. Various fun themes will be used so that children will have longer recall and enjoy practicing at home. The children are also encouraged to use their own imagination that helps them to connect with the real object around them. Also it will help them in improving focus, memory, flexibility, strength and self-awareness in a Fun way. Meditation and Relaxation...!!!

At times, we feel energy drained to cope up the daily challenges of life in spite of leading a healthy lifestyle and following a disciplined physical training schedule. This relates to our state of mind. As mind is always full of thoughts, quality of thoughts would impact how we feel in that particular moment - sometimes energetic, sometimes drained irrespective of physical health at that moment. We can train the mind to control thoughts and dissolves away the mental irritant - such as anger, jealousy, and greed - the mind is then engaged to pursue the meaningful objectives of enhanced concentration and insight. And that leads to a happier, more fulfilling life. It helps to enjoy every moment to fullest and mindfulness to solve the real life challenges.
